Live from Lakeland’s Civic Auditorium, Bob Barker hosted the 33rd annual Miss USA pageant – a welcome homecoming for the event, marking its first appearance in the Sunshine State since 1971. It was particularly nostalgic, as Lakeland replaced Miami Beach, the pageant's beloved former home.
