Synopsis

Reverend Ezekiel Brown, a man burdened by his flock, made an unlikely proposition: enlist the services of Benny, a man living outside the law, to guide his people westward on the Oregon Trail. Meanwhile, Prudence Aberdeen, a woman stifled by privilege and circumstance, found herself drawn to the promise of liberation offered by the trail, a siren call that pulled her away from the gilded cage of her marriage to the prosperous Todd.
