Peggy was overjoyed to hear that Kay had returned to town, a welcome disruption to the predictable rhythm of her days. She eagerly offered her friend a place back in her life, a chance to share in the ordinary moments that filled their days. But Molly, seeing the lingering shadows in Kay’s eyes, resolved to rekindle the spark of joy within her friend's heart.
