Synopsis

The aroma of roasting turkey usually filled Molly with a quiet joy, a respite from her culinary duties. This Thanksgiving, however, a lightness bloomed in her chest – no endless chopping, no frantic basting. That pleasure evaporated the moment Vince mentioned his brother’s impending visit, and a traditional Thanksgiving feast.
