Synopsis

At the airport, a woman was detained. Her documents identified her as Mrs. Mike Hammer. A foreigner, she had posed as his wife to gain entry into the country discreetly. She asserted that her homeland was undergoing a period of upheaval and that she was in New York to gather funds earmarked for the reforms. When an assailant attempted to kill her, Mike retaliated, but without her testimony, the act couldn't be legally justified, and deportation loomed. Consequently, Mike married her.
