Synopsis

Barnaby and Jones are called upon to investigate the shooting of Martin Barrett, a blackmailer. However, Barrett had cultivated a large number of victims, leaving them with a frustrating array of potential suspects. The situation sharpens when one of Barrett’s former clients, Sir John Waverley, receives a further demand. The investigation subsequently leads them to the coast, where they find themselves diving for treasure on a previously undocumented wreck.
