Synopsis

Peter and Caroline Cave, a couple long seeking a property for renovation in the Midsomer countryside, are discovered brutally garrotted in their car, parked near a derelict cottage in the woods outside Midsomer Newton – a place whispered to be haunted. Several others have expressed interest in purchasing the house; could desperation drive one of them to murder their competition?
