Synopsis

The Midsomer Literary Festival begins with the death of a celebrated author in the idyllic village of Midsomer St Michael. As Barnaby and Scott investigate the crime, they uncover a network of deceit and hidden vices amongst the village's privileged residents – corruption, financial impropriety, and various forms of infidelity. And with each new death, the body count rises.
