Synopsis

The partnership between Barnaby and Troy is nearing its conclusion; Troy has passed his inspector's exam and is preparing to leave. Yet, the grim tally of deaths in Midsomer continues to rise. Joyce Barnaby finds herself trapped within a collapsed canal tunnel, and her rescue uncovers seven skeletons in a concealed chamber.
