Synopsis

While participating in a watercolour class on Midsomer Florey’s village green, Barnaby’s wife, Joyce, discovers the body of Miss Fairfax. Joyce immediately recognizes the deceased. The case is initially assigned to Barnaby, but he is soon removed and replaced by a team from the National Intelligence Squad. He is instead tasked with locating a missing handbag, yet continues his own investigation into the murder, uncovering layers of deception and manipulation. It becomes clear that 'Miss Fairfax'
