Synopsis

A palpable energy filled Causton as the town celebrated the opening of a new brewery, built on the grounds of a long-legendary abbey. But the celebratory mood quickly soured when a man was discovered, horrifically boiled to death within one of the brewing vats. DCI Barnaby and DS Winter found themselves grappling with a perplexing case; could such a gruesome act truly be connected to beer?
