Synopsis

Little Auburn, a village deserted since the Second World War, is now the subject of ambitious restoration plans. But the anticipated reopening takes a dark turn with the discovery of a murder. Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby and his new sergeant, Jamie Winter, are quickly drawn into the investigation, forced to untangle a complex network of deceit that links the village's history to the present, in pursuit of the killer.
