Synopsis

The unearthing of a saint’s remains during an archaeological excavation sends ripples of excitement through the village of Midsomer Cicely. This burgeoning interest, however, is abruptly curtailed when the leader of the dig is found murdered. DCI Barnaby and DS Nelson are then tasked with unraveling a complicated case, compelled to seek the killer amongst the villagers.
