Synopsis

The debut of a previously unknown work by the late crime novelist George Summersbee at the Luxton Deeping Crime Festival is thrown into jeopardy when the manuscript is stolen. Adding to the chaos, a woman is fatally electrocuted after a roulette wheel rigged with a deadly trap is activated. Can Barnaby, recently become a father, unravel a tangled knot of jealousy and obsession to expose the killer?
