Synopsis

A dispute erupts amongst the birdwatching society of Midsomer-in-the-Marsh, escalating into violence following the death of their president. Patrick Morgan, who had been pursuing a sighting of a rare bird, is found dead, and the circumstances surrounding his demise suggest a darkness beyond mere hobbyist rivalry.
