Synopsis

Bullard tasks Barnaby with uncovering the disappearance of a young woman, daughter of a friend and a member of the Oblong Foundation, a secretive group centered around Malham Hall. Jones infiltrates the organization as a new recruit to solve the puzzle, but he and Barnaby quickly find themselves drawn into a long-forgotten case: the suspicious deaths of a couple in a boat explosion, a tragedy that may hold the key to the missing woman's fate.
