Synopsis

A disagreement over local development escalates into violence when a prominent member of the Midsomer Conservation Society becomes convinced her neighbours are orchestrating a fraudulent scheme for personal gain. In the seemingly idyllic village of Great Pelfe, a landscape of political maneuvering, theft, and illicit affairs hides a darker truth. The question is: what compels someone to commit murder? Barnaby and Jones are called upon to uncover the truth.
