Synopsis

The ambitious world title fight of local boxer John Kinsella has stirred long-buried emotions in the village of Midsomer Morchard. As preparations for a celebratory re-enactment of a Victorian prizefight take hold, a volatile mix of jealousy, betrayal, and blackmail emerges. Meanwhile, two suspicious deaths lead Barnaby to question whether his close friendships have clouded his judgment. A detective drama, featuring Phil Daniels as a guest star (formerly of EastEnders' Kevin Wicks).
