What shadowed confidences did Sparen whisper to the Sami girl, Evelina? Driven by a fierce resolve to locate Evelina's remains, Kahina dispatches divers to the stream where she was last observed. Though officially deemed a suicide, the investigation yields too many unsettling clues pointing to foul play. Within the derelict house of Eddie Geatkis, Kahina and Anders uncover the final fragments of a horrifying design. But the question remains: where has Eddie disappeared to?
