Synopsis

During a hunt, Arthur encounters a being of formidable power, rooted in the ancient faiths. When Gaius reveals that the creature can only be slain by magic, Uther dismisses the advice and dispatches his knights to hunt it down. Arthur is gravely wounded in the attempt, and Merlin is forced to journey to the Isle of the Blessed to save him. But will salvation come without a terrible cost?
