I recall the Three Mile Island incident because I was around twenty-five then, but I wasn’t closely following the news or politics like I would become later on, so my recollections were pretty vague and not very specific. This limited series documentary helped clarify many aspects of what happened and proved interesting with its perspective critical of the utility company. It does allow for opposing viewpoints to be presented as well. I have no reason to doubt the accuracy of the information shown. Sadly, it wouldn’t be unusual for a big business to prioritize earnings over safety and wellbeing, resorting to deception and concealment rather than embracing transparency. The program brought up the Chernobyl disaster that took place afterward. It's unrealistic to anticipate this series being as gripping as the show about that event—it’s a documentary, after all, not a dramatic presentation, so they aren’t comparable in terms of entertainment. Nevertheless, it functions adequately as a documentary.
