Synopsis

High in the Russian north, a team of engineers stands poised to dismantle a *Typhoon*-class submarine – the largest nuclear vessel ever built. In its prime, this formidable craft was a chilling instrument of power, patrolling global waters armed with twenty nuclear missiles. With the end of the Cold War, the *Typhoon* is now slated for demolition. However, disassembling a submarine containing two nuclear reactors presents an inherently hazardous undertaking. The process will require over a year,
