This is really good television. Season Rating: 9/10 Overall Rating: 9/10 I’ll be honest, I needed a little while—maybe an episode and a half—before it completely grabbed my attention, but once it did, I was totally hooked. The first season of 'McMafia' is exceptional! It has a captivating storyline combined with some wonderful performances, especially from James Norton as Alex and Merab Ninidze in the role of Vadim. The settings are gorgeous; I appreciate how international the show feels—and that might seem obvious considering what it’s about, but they really do capture a global scope, which is vital. It's not flawless, naturally, but it comes very near to perfection. I am eager for season two!
