Synopsis

As Claire and Tess watched from across the street, Min Min’s lights danced above Drover’s. Tess clung to the hope that they were a sign of good fortune, but Claire, increasingly restless and anxious in her late pregnancy, remained unconvinced. She insisted they were merely natural occurrences, though a sense of foreboding settled upon her – a feeling that something difficult was to come.
