Synopsis
On December 19, 2005, moments after departing Miami, Florida, the right wing of Chalk's Ocean Airways Flight 101 detached, sending the aircraft plummeting into the ocean and claiming the lives of all twenty people aboard. The disaster was attributed to a combination of metal fatigue and inadequate maintenance.
