Synopsis

Three tragic aviation incidents, each involving a Boeing 737, occurred in rapid succession. On March 3, 1991, United Airlines Flight 585 plummeted from the sky during its approach to landing, crashing within eight seconds and claiming the lives of all twenty-five passengers and crew. Nearly three years later, on September 8, 1994, USAir Flight 427 met a similar fate, diving and crashing within thirty seconds of landing, resulting in the loss of all one hundred and thirty-two people aboard.
