Synopsis

On the morning of June 2, 1983, a fire ignited within the lavatory of Air Canada Flight 797. The flight made an emergency landing in Cincinnati, but as the aircraft taxied, flames rapidly consumed it on the runway, resulting in the tragic loss of 23 lives, among them the musician Stan Rogers. The opening of the aircraft doors following the landing triggered a rapid spread of fire.
