Synopsis

On January 19, 1995, the crew of Bristow Flight 56C faced a dire situation when lightning struck their helicopter, damaging the tail rotor. Forced to execute an emergency autorotation, they ditched into the sea. Battling turbulent waters, the sixteen oil rig workers and pilots were ultimately rescued by vessels in the vicinity.
