Synopsis
On February 8, 1988, Nürnberger Flugdienst Flight 108 disintegrated in mid-air and plummeted to the ground near Kettwig, Germany, during its approach to Düsseldorf Airport. All twenty-one people aboard perished in the accident. A lightning strike had induced a complete electrical failure, leaving the pilots disoriented in space.
