Synopsis
On February 16, 1998, China Airlines Flight 676, battling adverse weather as it approached Chiang Kai-shek International Airport, attempted a go-around but stalled and crashed into a residential area. The disaster resulted in the loss of all 196 people aboard the aircraft, as well as seven lives on the ground.
