Synopsis
On June 9, 1995, Ansett New Zealand Flight 703 experienced a landing gear failure during its final approach to Palmerston North Airport in New Zealand. As the pilots worked to address the issue, the aircraft descended and crashed into the hilly terrain. Tragically, four of the twenty-one people aboard perished in the accident.
