Synopsis

On August 18, 1993, American International Airways Flight 808 experienced a stall and subsequently rolled to the right, crashing into the ground a quarter of a mile from the runway. The aircraft was in the process of maneuvering for final approach to Leeward Point Airfield in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. All three crew members aboard the flight survived the incident.
