Synopsis
On April 26, 1994, China Airlines Flight 140 ascended sharply, entering an aerodynamic stall at a low altitude before crashing approximately 340 feet east-northeast of the runway's centerline while approaching Nagoya Airport in Japan. The disaster resulted in the deaths of 264 of the 271 people aboard.
