Synopsis
On October 7, 2008, Qantas Flight 72 experienced two unexpected and uncontrolled nose-dives while en route from Singapore's Changi Airport to Perth. Of the 315 passengers and crew, 119 sustained injuries. The aircraft subsequently made an emergency landing at Learmonth Airport, located near Exmouth in Western Australia.
