Synopsis
On the morning of September 3, 2010, the pilots of UPS Flight 6 reported a fire and initiated an emergency call shortly after departure from Dubai International Airport. The crew attempted to return to the airport for landing, but their efforts proved unsuccessful. The aircraft flew over the airport before crashing into an uninhabited area nearby. Both pilots perished in the accident.
