Synopsis

On the morning of November 4, 2008, a Mexican Interior Ministry Learjet 45 plummeted from the sky and crashed in central Mexico City. Among the eight fatalities were Juan Camilo Mouriño, the Mexican Secretary of the Interior, and seven others who had been on board. The aircraft struck traffic at Las Lomas during the peak of rush hour, the cause attributed to a loss of control resulting from wake turbulence.
