Synopsis

On February 6, 1958, British European Airways Flight 609, a plane filled with Manchester United players, club officials, and journalists, crashed into a house approximately 300 meters from the runway's end. The aircraft failed to lift off, resulting in the deaths of 23 of the 44 people aboard. The accident was attributed to slush on the runway, which impeded the plane's acceleration and prevented it from achieving sufficient speed for takeoff.
