Synopsis

On December 7, 1987, Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 1771, en route to San Francisco, crashed at supersonic speed onto a mountainside in rural San Luis Obispo County, California. The disaster claimed the lives of all forty-three people aboard. Subsequent investigations revealed that David Burke, a former employee of USAir, had brought a firearm onto the aircraft.
