On the morning of December 27, 1991, Scandinavian Airlines Flight 751 descended into a crash landing in Gottröra moments after liftoff. The cause was a complete engine failure on both sides. Clear ice, accumulated on the wings, had been drawn into the engines, inflicting internal damage. A hidden automatic system, designed to boost engine power, inadvertently exacerbated the problem, contributing to the catastrophic loss of thrust.
