Synopsis

On the twenty-fourth of November, two thousand and one, Crossair Flight 3597 struck a hillside while making its final approach to Zurich, resulting in the loss of twenty-four of the thirty-three passengers and crew aboard. The accident was attributed to the pilot's descent to an altitude below the required minimum for the approach.
