Synopsis
The evening of September 2, 1998, Swissair Flight 111 experienced an in-flight fire that severely damaged critical systems. The aircraft subsequently crashed into the Atlantic Ocean near Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, resulting in the loss of all aboard.
