Synopsis

Max and Kat arrive in Kansas to find Dr. Klimo, a former N-Tek employee, continuing his dangerous experiments in weaponizing animal DNA. Jefferson had dismissed him when his research strayed too far from ethical science. Klimo had once been amiable, even friendly with the children of N-Tek staff, like young Josh McGrath. They discover Klimo working in an old barn, surrounded by cages filled with bats and snakes, and large vats containing bubbling liquids. He resists being returned to Del Oro
