Synopsis

The story begins with what N-Tek believes is an assassination attempt on United Nations Secretary-General Mari Keita, though Max harbors reservations. These doubts deepen when he learns his adoptive father, Jefferson Smith, has suffered a heart attack and vanished without a trace from any hospital. It soon becomes clear that Smith has been abducted. While the others of N-Tek pursue various leads, Max embarks on his own search. He discovers a hidden base, is captured, and ultimately finds Jeffers
