Synopsis

With Florida now behind them, Maude resolved at last to find a new housekeeper. She was pleased to discover that the candidate, Mrs. Naugatuck, hailed from Britain; however, their initial enthusiasm soon faded as they found themselves at odds regarding traditional roles. Mrs. Naugatuck insisted on addressing Walter as “master of the house” and began attending to his every whim with an almost excessive attentiveness.
