Synopsis

Francie Potter, the adolescent girl staying with us from the projects, has reappeared, this time requesting money to flee her family. In a scheme hatched with her boyfriend, Francie manipulated Maude by inventing a tale of an abusive, drunken father, claiming she needed to escape and pursue a career as a rock and roll star – all while subtly extracting funds from Maude’s purse.
