Synopsis

Walter was unraveling with worry as the Findlays faced a tax audit, but the auditor, Harvey Clarke, proved to be an unsettling figure—a man who had attempted to rape Maude thirty-one years earlier in Boston, Massachusetts. When she informed Walter, he seemed reluctant to pursue the matter further, yet Maude found herself unable to simply dismiss it and resolved to jog his memory.
