Synopsis

Maude discovered a man's wallet lying on the pavement. He was known locally as a faithless husband. When Walter asserted that a wallet represented a private space for every man, Maude felt compelled to peer inside. This small transgression set in motion a chain of misunderstandings, leading her to confront a woman named Norma, whom she wrongly believed was involved with Walter.
