Synopsis

Carol is involved with Russell Asher, a strikingly handsome writer—a fact complicated by the knowledge that he had previously dated, and subsequently dismissed, Maude. This prompts Maude to make every effort to caution Carol about Russell’s self-centered nature. Yet, Carol disregards these warnings and persists in her relationship with him, even to the point of spending a night together, an experience which ultimately proves disastrous.
