Synopsis

A longtime acquaintance of Maude’s arrived for a visit, bringing news of a bitter disagreement between herself and her daughter. This prompted Maude to dedicate herself wholeheartedly to bridging the divide, though the chasm of years and the complexities of money seemed determined to thwart her efforts.
