Synopsis

Maude orchestrated a surprise celebration for Walter’s fiftieth birthday, though the event proved less joyous than she’d envisioned; Walter was too deeply burdened by depression to find any pleasure in it. Hoping to lift his spirits, Maude had invited an old friend, but her intervention backfired tragically when he unexpectedly collapsed and died before Walter's very eyes.
